Text Survivor turns a terminal-like screen into a compact survival battlefield. The player is @, enemies are A-Z, and shots are symbols. Designed for portrait mobile play, the game uses simple touch movement and automatic attacks to create quick, readable action. Players dodge letter swarms, collect EXP, and choose one of three upgrades at each level up, gradually reshaping @ with faster fire, stronger shots, longer range, piercing attacks, blast shots, and symbol weapons such as (), [], and <>. Each run pushes toward numbered bosses, counting down from Boss 9 to the final 0. The result is a small, focused survival action game with a neon terminal look, glitchy presentation, and a clear hook: everything on the battlefield is text.

Text Survivor Launches on Android: A Survival Action Game Built Entirely From Text
Japan, June 1, 2026 - Text Survivor, a new Android survival action game from independent developer 5n6organs, is now available on Google Play. The game strips the survival-action format down to symbols: the player is @, enemies are A-Z, and bullets are *.
Designed for portrait mobile play, Text Survivor uses touch movement and automatic attacks to create simple, readable action. Players drag @ through letter swarms, collect EXP, and choose one of three upgrades at each level up. Build options include faster fire, stronger shots, longer range, piercing shots, blast shots, and symbol weapons such as (), [], and <>.
The game builds toward a sequence of numbered bosses from Boss 9 down to the final 0. Its terminal-green screen, glitchy presentation, BGM, and sound effects give the minimal text combat a neon arcade feel while keeping the action immediately understandable.
